Becoming the Expert is Your Only Option

Find a line of business that you can sell and find something in it that ties into your passion.
You won't become an expert overnight, but if you're already around certain people, and already have some comfort around a topic, then develop that knowledge and use that passion to make others care.
In Tracy Cotton's last segment with Joey, she talks about writing farm insurance, which she knows is dominated by the big insurance company who writes the big dairy farmers.
She could care less about that business. She's more interested in getting to know small organic farmers, or farmers who may have alternative methods. She already loves going to Farmer's Markets, and already enjoys talking and learning about small produce. So why not?
Why not become the expert?
Okay, so you don't have to have passion. You can just crank it each day, every day, but it will sure make your job a lot more interesting if you become an expert with your passion.
